Education and Experience
Dr. Sahakyants initially attended Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia, where he received a Doctorate of Stomatology. Next he attended the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine, where he completed a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Following dental school, Dr. Sahakyants pursued his interest in endodontics at the Boston University Henry R. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. There he earned his certificate in advanced graduate studies in endodontics.
Dr. Sahakyants has practiced dentistry since 2002. He values the opportunity to meet and serve a diverse population: relieving each person’s pain and saving their teeth. In doing so, he is able to improve his patients’ quality of life and well-being.

By actively seeking to expand his knowledge and skills, and staying at the forefront of the latest information, Dr. Sahakyants provides each patient with the ideal treatment for their needs.
Beyond the Practice
Originally from Yerevan, Armenia, Dr. Sahakyants, his wife, and their two daughters now reside in Lexington, Massachusetts. If he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Sahakyants is most often found with his family: He treasures every moment with them.
Additionally, he enjoys traveling, swimming, and biking, and loves playing the guitar and piano. Dr. Sahakyants has many interests beyond oral health, including astronomy and cosmology, history, ancient mythology, and classical music.
Dr. Sahakyants believes helping one another and taking care of each other’s needs is important for building and maintaining a healthy society. He volunteers with the Salvation Army, Give Kids a Smile, and other programs that provide donated dental services. He also supports the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR).
